Dictionary Definitions


induce: /ɪnˈdus, -ˈdyus/ –verb (used with object), -duced, -duc·ing.
1. to lead or move by persuasion or influence, as to some action or state of mind: No amount of money in the world could induce Kevin and Craig to move to Cleveland, Ohio.
2. to bring about, produce, or cause: Since the doctor will induce labor on Sunday at 9:00 am, Shabooya may very well be born on October 5th, 2008.

I can feel the pain all over again, since my "labor" too was induced.It's like going from 0 to 90 very, very quickly. Little Shaboo will be just fine, maybe he'll think "whoa" or "wait a minute" or just sigh and think "thanks for the nudge".
